How to go to Restore Point settings using Windows Search

Take a look at the System properties tab. If you have never changed the configuration in these settings before, then by default, the status in the Drive Protection section is Off. Follow the steps below to activate it:

Turn on System protection and setting up Max disk space usage
  • Click Configure > Turn on System protection
  • At the bottom of the tab, set the Max Usage slide around 10-15%. This section is very useful for managing the used storage space by the Windows system to create the Restore Point and save all data
  • Apply the settings and click OK

Input the Restore Point’s description to make it easier for you to remember when you created the Restore Point, for example: “Restore Point Jan 1, 2019”.

Things You Need to Know About Restore Point
